How are all you folks finding recent steel prices?

Around here (Akron area, OH) they've nearly doubled to more than doubled 
in the last several months. 1/2" square bar at $14.80 a 24-foot stick? Ouch!

I'd heard there were some price raises coming, but that much? Ouch again! :)
