I visited Williamsburg a couple weeks back.  The blacksmith shop was =
closed
to the public all that week. I just happened to run into one of the =
smiths
outside the shop. They were preparing for a hammer-in on the weekend. =
They
said Peter is buying land with good shop possibilities. I hope he will =
still
demonstrate and teach. We sure have learned a lot from his =
demonstrations at
Fort Vancouver.

Talked to the printer, event though that shop was closed too.  There has
been about a 25% reduction of reinactor staff at Historic Williamsburg.
Peter's leaving seems to be related to that. =20
