Oh okay, so I don't use recipes as anything but vague suggestions. <grin>
Speaking of supper time, I can smell the pork roast in the oven. I kept the
experiment simple this time. I rubbed it with sage, fresh ground black
pepper and ground mustard seed. Then I stabbed it half a dozen times and
implanted said number of galric cloves. Then seared it and deglazed the pan
with 1/2+ cup of water and a squirt of lemon juice. Then racked it and
added: 2 large chunked up, Wallawalla onions, 2 largish Granny Smith apples,
2 stalks celery sliced, 4-5 med red potatoes chunked up. Just before I
closed the lid on it I liberally squirted lemon juice on it and covered it
with maple syrup.
Yeah, I know I forgot the carrots. <sigh>
