	And I think that maintaining that connectio to the so-called
	"primitive" aspects of human existence is a very healthy thing,
	perhaps even necessary to a happy life for some.

	What I wonder is this: how far away from the "real" can one
	go and still maintain that connection in a meaningful way?
	I suppose the better question is whether there is a limit
	and whether "distance" has any real effect.
