[TheForge] propane forge burner book

Mikey, I had the slotted burners on my forge as well (to start out
with).......then my Reznor ceiling furnace started blowing out the burners
when they were on idle at 1/2 PSI.......and I rapidly figured that wasn't
going to cut it.

However, if your application of jet/mig tip (ejector?) designs are
good ones, there is no reason you can't get a better gas mix/flow out of the
improved change on my forge, and just cut the pressure to save on
gas.......which then would be a really excellent point. This is why I'd
like to try it.

John, Hope I didn't talk you out of the book, I plan on buying one for
reference soon.

I plan to bring one of the "Verticle Sidewinder" gas forges to the ABANA
conference. I'll also be helping in the set up & welding tent, so we can
easily do burner experiments in the evening (if folks have sample burners or
mixing head & barrels with them), as I should have a scratch start tig with
me and can just cut one apart and add something in if folks feel creative
after hours......... If the gear is set up, it's only a few minute change to
see what happens.

Ralph
