Depends on the kind of frame you're talking about. Do you mean
the regualr run of the mill angle iron frames you buy in the
store? I have no idea what that would be. The suctom frames
we made wither used these types of rails or we made them from
box iron... just regular A36 I assume, though I never asked.
The supplier always assumed mild steel unless I specified otherwise.
