I've had the same problem with the Zone Alarm update. Uninstall, the
problems disappear, reinstall, they return.

Lotsa luck contacting ZA. Let us know if you can and what they say.

Thank you all for your info...........no spyware (ran Ad-Aware) but I
uninstalled Zone Alarm and all the problems went away!  I reinstalled from
the Website hoping to avoid the update problem, but it did not help.  Time
to contact ZA help.
