[TheForge] OT gas price

This time you're right - it's all taxes.

Mind you, the tax on a pint of beer is quite steep, too. Although I always
find it odd that a pint of real ale (which has to be packaged, transported,
stored and served under very rigourous conditions) costs about the same as a
pint of Coke (which is mixed up in the pub from concentrate and tap water).
especially as the beer's taxed and the Coke isn't.

But don't get me started on free refills (we don't have them :-(
