It's sort of a classic joke on the conservatives who have been
slavering for decades over the opportunity to exploit the potentially
vast market that China represents.
Steel prices; Like gas, a fair part of the steel cost difference lies in
the massive devaluation of our currency that Bush encouraged. We spent
much more than we had and printed more money freely and are continuing
to do so. That makes the dollar worth less so it costs more to buy steel
and gas. What's the difference between that and a tax? Form only, both
cost us in the end....in the end is right......Pete F
