I do have a large, somewhat unusual modern forged piece down there you 
could go see-
DelMar Station, at the corner of Delmar and Arroyo in downtown Pasadena.
550 linear feet of fence, about 5 tons of  Stainless, with a little 
sprinkling of maybe 1500lbs of bronze.
Sorta Art Deco in motif, runs along both sides of the new light rail 
tracks.
Lotta rivets, fair amount of forging, although nothing too baroque.
