[TheForge] gate barrings

They make some mighty fine bronze bearings these days. I would double check with a distributor on weight load specs, but I owuld think you should be fine. 

For example:
Large steam turbines use bronze bearings/bushings for their valve rack camshafts and those puppies not see large forces, but high temps. On out unit here at UC the rack sees almost 750 degree operating temps.
