I use Save-N-Sync from Peer Software. It backs up 10 gig to a second drive,
one in and one external, in about 1 1/2 minutes. It is fast because once the
files are backed up it only adds the files that have been changed or new
files. One nice feature is that it backs them up in the same format (not
some unrecognizable proprietary format) as the originals so you can look at
them, drag them back one at a time, in whole, or groups. You can get a free
trial version and buy it for 29.99 if you like it. Good support people too.

Does anyone have any recomendations for backup programs?  The one that came
with XP chokes on anything over 4 gig.
