I think wrist pins are 52100 bearing grade steel. The Mack wrist pins have a
hole length-wise through them. They may be a bit too hard for a hammer -
trade 'em to a knife-maker and use axle steel for your hammer.

Anyone know what Cummins Diesel wrist pins are made of? These are 2x5" and
seem quite harder than a 4xxx series.
Good sizes for a sledge. I believe they came out of a boat motor.
