What about curving stove elements over a form to fit
neatly inside the pot from the top? No seals to worry
about and the elements heat the salt directly, or even
have a double wall design with perforated inner walls
to allow the salt to flow from the heating chamber into
the area where the work will be. This gives rapid
sensing of temperature with minimal conduction lag,
thereby providing precise temperature control without
allowing for direct contact of the work with the heating
element. Or you could have a single outer wall with a
mesh inner one to allow for even greater heat transfer
	and uniformity of temperature.

	Just a thought.

Actually, we should shoot this over the Mike Schermerhorn
on theforge. He pretty well knows all there is to know about
	salt pots. Mike?
