Did some blacksmith do that?  There was a prof at Purdue who posted
lotsa photos.  Sadly, the URL now returns:

The photos of reducing a cheap barbecue to a smoldering puddle of slag
and ash in less than 60 seconds with a bucket of lox were on line for
some considerable time before the local fire marshal heard about this
annual entertainment at an academic soiree. And there was a spell
early on when Purdue's server bogged down under the demand for the
pics.
