ITC-100 and Satanite are two different products. Satanite is a coating
designed to ridgedize the interior ceramic wool wall to help prolong life
and to limit/prohibit ceramic wool fibers from breaking off and eroding
away the wall, not to mention the possiblility of you inhaling the fiber
particles.
ITC-100 is an IR (Infra Red) reflector that helps concentrate the heat
inside the combustion chamber rather than slowly migrating out through the
walls. Reports are that this will allow you to reduce your propane
consumption once the interior is up to temp, and also to get you up and
forging quicker. Or so it is reported.
