I'm not seeing any of you examples, Walt.  But most of the cheap
software spam I see or read about on news.admin.net-abuse.email or
SPAM-L comes from Russia, either pirated goods or a simple ripoff.
Most recent reports are to the effect that the same or similar
Russians are using the cheap software offer to  phish for your
credit card data.

Never ever buy anything from a spammer.  Ever.  Really.
