I've not used this process, but I have used its complimentary process
recently for a iridium-platinum ring I made for a client. Instead of
building a mold layer by layer, a wax pattern was built that way and I
then messed with it a bit thereafter and did the pour. The basic
result was pretty good. I got the cheaper, lowres job because I was
going to carve the result. That was 0.001" resolution. The highres,
which was about three times the cost, was .0001". which is quite good.
The ring cast nicely and all were happy.
