[TheForge] Cone Question

OK, how's about this:  rough out the form such that you are able to
do the joinery at the edge, whether it be solder or a weld.  If weld,
do on outside only.  Grind flush.  Have ready and male and female
die.  Do you have a Dake press?  The very rough cone goes in, ram it
home, and hopefully a more or less perfect cone pops out of the die.

The critical thing here is geting a good seam.  Once you have that,
getting the rest of it straight and true should be a piece of cake
with a dieset.
