The de-bunk site I read indicated that she did tour the area, just not 
alone and not on a motorcycle, but by car as part of a sanctioned tour, 
so the photos are genuine.    Regarding tree growth and building 
condition, depends on the species( for trees)  and the climate/materials 
for buildings.    I know that I have hackberries and they seem to grow 
back before I can even get the chainsaw back on the truck.      My 
experience with a house on the Texas gulf was that the elements 
definately were working 24 hours a day to bring it down, while I only 
had three of four to combat them.
