I bought the crucible book, Terry. Enjoyable, lots of info, worth the 
money, but ...
If I was flat broke, I might try his processes.  On the other hand, I've 
been there when a crucible cracked, and never want to experience it again. 
I'll just keep buying the silicon carbide ones.
