Hmm...  Now that is an idea that I hadn't even considered!
Now I just have to figure out how to sell it to the wiser half!

Since I'm trying to avoid shelling out close to a grand for a finished 
product or the parts I can't see how I can justify buying the press, but if 
I can somehow manage to get the parts for the log splitter economically 
enough, I could probably design the splitter to do double duty. (Why hon... 
Of course it needs the tilting horizontal/vertical H frame for stability 
when splitting the largest logs)...

Needs more thought, but now something to kick around upstairs...
