Folks: I just wanted to take a moment to thank those who made suggestions
for my Paris?London trip. I spent Christmas in Paris and New Year in
London. I did make it to Le Samaritain....it was an interesting building
with Noveau and Deco Elements.
Of special note was the museum at Cluny......inside was a very sturdy 14th
century candelabra with some interesting forge welds.
London was full of ironwork as well. Of particular interest was the
Bankside Gate at the Old Globe Theater.
On another note, I'm planning to build a table to support a 440 pound
fly-press and I want to equip it with retractable casters to move the table
with the press mounted and retract the casters once the table is in place.
Previously, these had been a thread on such casters. I would welcome any
info on a source for these casters in CA. I'm estimating the total weight
of the press and table at 650 pounds.
