You could probably get all them convertors and transformers to work, 
but then there would be a lot more things to go wrong.
Russell Jacque just got a great deal on a new motor for his 750lb 
chambersburg- he just called around motor rebuilders, and somebody sold 
him a nice looking one- I think it is 25 hp- I dont remember the exact 
price, but it was under a grand- I am pretty sure it was around 500 
bucks. Big slow motors like that dont exactly jump off the store 
shelves, and a lot of places would probably like to get rid of them. If 
you did some hard core phone calling, I bet you could find one for a 
few hundred bucks.
