I know the South Seattle Community College had some of the class assembling
their own air hammers. Given access to the weld and machine shops made it
alot easier for them.  I just got a little flyer in my B/S journal about the
'new' Anyang 33lb self-contained model for 3300 dollars.  Looks like that
could be an option as could any number of Big Blue, Bull, KA hammers in the
3$K range.  How big is big enough for a entry level class? Why not get a
fly-press while you're at it, as long as they're paying?
