You may be right- but remember he is talking about 2" od round here - 
that is a lot of grinding. I have had good success with using the 
actual bar I want the swage to fit, and heating the swage up. I do use 
a power hammer to hit the swage- maybe you were thinking of hand 
hammering- because to me, it is a lot easier to hit something once with 
the power hammer than to grind for a half hour or so-
Oh well- different strokes for different folks.
