Andy, With your explanation, I remembered an automotive differential / power hammer that a list member had made back, perhaps in 1998 with a web video demonstration posted . As I recall it used one wheel, with one lug bolt as the pitman. Applying a brake on the opposite wheel would start pitman side of the power hammer. Wonder if that hammer is still running.
