	They are arrogant and would shove their ways down your
	throat, up your butt, and in every other bodily crevice
	if they could get away with it.  As I said, I agree with
	most of what they expound, in principle, but their
	Big Brother approach to making everyone toe their line
	makes them nothing better than another gang of bullies.

	My litmus test for this is whether they live and let live.
	PeTA doesn't, so they fail.  I've been aware of many
	other organizations more obnoxious and repugnant in 
	their "values", yet they don't attempt to impose them
	on others who don't welcome it.  Disagree as I might,
	I greatly appreciate their respectful willingness to
	not offend others with their unwanted preaching, product,
	whatever.  

	I don't consider splattering fur-wearing people with red
	dye or animal blood (there's some hippocrisy for you) to be
	mere proselytization or a show of empathy.  I would regard
	such an act as an assault on my person and I would respond
	accordingly.  They were doing this in NY about 10 or 15
	years ago.  That none of them were killed is evidence of
	peoples' generally tolerant nature about things.
