Saint Phlip,
I haven't weighed any of my weapon replicas, but no more than 5 pounds
for the largest. These replicas are a good bit heavier than anything
that would likely have been made for combat. They're more decorative or
costume weapons, except for the throwing axes.
All of those things I build for Sue and Mike are cutouts from 1/4-inch
sheet and have sockets of schedule 40 1-inch ID pipe. (I think that's
what Mike gets.)
So they're generally heavier than necessary for weapons, but they'd
probably last through quite a few body modifications. :)

Johan, thinking of joining CoD as a novitiate LDS, with an aim toward
the priesthood. Fnord!

One should rather skid in broadside, thoroughly used up,
totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming -- "WOW! WHAT A RIDE!"
