[TheForge] Postal woes..a lesson learned Yak

I find that the Priority Mail with tracking "log in" can usually
register back on my computer from the USPS web site with in a few hours
after I mail the package. From my small town in Iowa, I almost
always get 2 day service to, and from, anywhere in the US with the $4 +
cost of a priority / & tracking. This is better ('more better' not
just 'as good' ) for me, than the "overnight" Which because of the
hassle factor of pickup from my small town,,, better than I can get when
I spend the $11 plus for "overnight" ( $ more ) with even the express
services like Fed Ex, etc. I haven't used Fed Ex for a while, but, for
example: my experience with Fed Ex was, that it almost always takes me 3
days to send /( and or ) receive, mostly because I have to sit like a bug
in a rug waiting for them. Because my town is so small, that can be
anywhere from 9 AM to 3 PM. No matter what, It seems if I step out for one
single minute ... that is when they came and missed me. For me, USPS is
number ONE.

Receiving: with Priority Mail, The package is waiting for me at my P.O.
Box.

Sending: With Priority Mail, I know the USPS hours and can drop off the
package without worrying if I will miss their delivery person, and not
have to drive 50 miles to find a FED EX drop box.

We are so rural, that the Post Master (herself) is on a first name basis
with most everyone of the community.

Even in our very rural area: Brown / UPS ranks nearly as high for me. From
my experience UPS has pretty great people. If there were a local UPS
"store" it would be a coin flip.
