You have (at least) two choices:
1. Look in the phone book under "Steel Distributors
and Warehouses". Some steel distributors will deal
with a small guy, others have a minimum order
quantity. You will probably have to buy 20' lengths
of hot rolled, and 12' lengths of cold rolled.
2. Many welding fabrication shops sell steel, and
don't mind dealing with the small guy. They typically
charge more though.
