I hope this year is better for you. Local courses are a good place to start 
learning welding if you don't have anyone nearby to help you. I would take 
any courses that you feel up to, even if you don't use the processes it 
could give you other ideas. Stay away from welding or coal smoke if you 
have pneumonia.
