	That is why we usually mark off-topic posts with either "OT"
	or "YAK" in the subject line.  With this it is easy to set
	up an email filter to either delete these posts or dump them
	into another folder.

	The only thing I will add to this thread, and directed to
	Tom, is that you can't please everyone, so nib out and
	don't worry about it.  If I'd taken to heart some of the
	comments that were forwarded to me by one or two of the
	folks here, I'd be living on Mars.  People are allowed to
	have differences of opinion.  That some don't display the
	manners of an alley cat and endeavor to insult people in
	a personal way is a sad commentary on their choices, not
	your expositions on thermodynamics.  You're a smart guy
	with good experience.  There are plenty of people here
	that appreciate what you have to offer.
