It was the one in Flagstaff. It used to be "Flagstaff H-D". We changed
the name to
"GRAND CANYON H-D" The market now world wide. GC being one of the
7natural wonders of the world and us being on "old-66"(actually I-40)
the road to the big ditch.
We could now have a 200% mark up rather than the the minimal 100%.
There was a very large Germ. clientele, the Germ. reichsmark when
converted to
US$ had a much greater value, we went so far as to hire a German
speaking blond
bombshell to handle all the Germ. inquiries. She was a ZORRA with a 3rd
deg.blk
belt in tai qwon do. The Germ.s liked to rent the BUELs (ramble ramble)

I could share that with you on your personal address if you want .
But I can tell you that my three legged dog SMOKEY has been sold more
than one
ELECTRA GLIDE and I don't mean Carmen.
I should use his credit history now that I think of it.

He had a year to sell it, or they would buy back all that he had on
the floor (bikes only)
for what he paid none of the shipping. all the accessories parts and all
the clothes his to keep.
And seein' that he had already sold every bike on the floor to the
employees and my dog he dint have any
on the floor. So... he was going to loose 6MIL.
Actually the the people who own the h-d dealerships in snotsdale bought
it for there adopted son
who is now running it into the ground. The story goes on and on.
It should be up for sale again next year from what the owner says. The
old owner carried the paper.
In the movie EASY RIDER Hopper and Fonda pull into a motel an old man
comes out goes back in
turns on the no vacancy sign and then tells the scooter trash to "move
along" or some thing. That motel was
100 foot from the front door THE PINE BREEZE INN. GCHD owned it. We were
in the process of renovating, near done when all this came down, how we
could have exploited that ! Fonda wanted 10k
to make an appearance, and Hopper's people wouldn't respond. (ramble
ramble ramble)
... bet your sorry you asked!
