Sounds like if you are worrying about throttling back the gas forge you
aren't using it very efficiently.
One of the big advantages of a gas forge is that, you can have several
pieces heating while forging another piece.
If I don't have 2 to 4 billets working at once I feel I'm wasting forging
time especially when using a power hammer or hydraulic press.
