Ralph:

The main reason I've been using Southern Toolsteel
recently is that they have had the straight carbon
toolsteel I've been looking for.  The last thing I got
from them was some 1.5" square 1045.  I think I had
ordered 6 feet of it.  They called me back and said
that they had a bar that was 7 feet long, and if I
wanted to pay the extra for shipping, there would be
no extra charge for the steel.
