	Did it every year I was there.  Best time just over 10 hours, best
	place, 43rd I believe.  Had my ass glued to the back of Otis Guy
	and Joe Breeze until about the 150 mile mark, then they burned me
	off.  We had a good pace line going but I didn't have the stamina
	for road racing.  My coach told me I should have been a track
	racer.  Said I was the damned strongest pair of legs he's ever seen,
	but the weakest pair of lungs.  He was right, I didn't have what it
	took for the long haul, but I was fast as hell.  

	Yeah, I remember the unicycle.  They must be crazy. I was there
	78 79 80.

	I also did the Mount Lassen Triple Century.  That ride just hurt.
	Three hundred miles of hill climbing is just stupid.

	Those were the days.  Young, stupid, and feeling great. <sigh>
