Me too. I think it took me 6 months to finish Atlas Shrugged,
and I was really taken by it.

You must be joking! That was my basic physics text when I
was at UC Davis. Big yellow binding? At least mine was.
	Still have it, too.

I agree it has not been disproven and that it may in fact
be the gospel truth. We just haven't proven THAT either,
though certain measured observations appear to support it.
To be frank, I would be surprised if there was no way to
defeat C as ULV for travel to and fro. But if it really
is, then perhaps we're not supposed to wander past our
little corner of the galaxy. But if that is so, why are
we endowed with such a strong curiosity and desire to do
so, unless we've accidentally turned outward that which
was intended to be turned inward... nah, I don't believe
in such accidents. Einstein said he didn't believe that
God played dice with the universe. That I can appreciate.
I'm not sure I believe in mistakes on such grand levels,
but then again, who can really know for certain? Try as
I have, my proctological exams of the Great Engineer have
yet to succeed. If I leave this life really understanding
just ONE thing, and I don't care what that thing might be,
I will consider myself to have accomplished something
	significant.

	Hi to MB.
