I took a few minutes to browse, too. OK, more than a few minutes :-) So far
this looks to be a great one-stop-shop for building a forge, foundry, or
kiln.
Most of the details that take web-surfing time are thrown in here. And the
construction notes are usually not anywhere on websites.
One question, Mike - I didn't see any mention of the bell reducer or sidearm
burners. The ones I saw were mainly the "Mongo" style. Personally, I've built
all three and found the Mongo to be the more difficult to construct. This
isn't
a criticism, or anything, but mostly I'm curious why you chose that design vs
the side-arm.

They are more work to construct. Follow the instructions and you will end
up with equipment that burns hotter and cleaner. That isn't to say that
everyone will want to spend the time constructing these burners. And not everyone
will need to. People are already planning to provide parts. Some people will
decide to stay with the older burner types, for that matter. Choice is good. The
rest of the equipment will still be fun to run with an older burner. Maybe not
as much fun if you like to rock :o)
Actually, you guys are one up on me. I haven't seen the book in print yet;
just on a computer screen (really hard to it take to the bathroom).
Bookmasters seems to have shipped mine via China. Don't it just figure?
