I'm not sure I'll make ABANA in Richmond as I've got a whole load of stuff
on the plate this year. There are however, some West coast events that look
like a pilgrimmage may be in order. The CBA spring conference is hosting
Alfred Habermann and notable knife maker Tai Goo and others. (apologies for
names I've omitted) Our NWBA spring conference in Enumclaw is hosting two
Smiths from finland as well as the ever popular David Tuthill. check out
David's site @ davidtuthillmetals.com.
I also just received Daryl Nelson's sylabus for his new school: Meridian
Forge in Eatonville, WA. Daryl is teaching monthly workshops ranging from
his famous animal heads to traditional joinery to the completion of a garden
gate or coffe table. You can contact Daryl @ 360-832-6280
