I looked at my catalog, I got the name wrong. It's Nanmac, out of
Framingtom, MA. 508-872-4811

Temperature sensor for high temperature measurement, molten aluminum =
(!),
re-entry heat shields, rocket nozzels, vacuum furnaces, and on it =
goes<G>.
If you are worried about the thermocouple eroding or messing with the
situation, they have ceramic and foundry grade metal protection tubes. =20

Omega.com has similar.

Good thing is that most of the information you want is available at =
either
place. Catalogs give you enough information for you to make a quality
decision,,, usually<G>.

There are thermocouples that will handle the temperatures. They usually
specify to use the larger diameters, and stainless. Omega or Nantech =
(less
expensive) sell them.
Thanks. I will look into that. Such probes would be handy for casting =
too.=20
That is the beauty of these groups; no one could possible do the =
research to

keep up with everything anymore. A thousand pairs of eyes are so handy =
these
days. Mikey
