Bruce
We will find out soon enough. This year I finally get time to play with the
new furnaces. However, everything I've read on Castinghobby and before that on
Hobbicast, where building and using pyrometers are threads several times a
year, indicates that thermocouples cannot take the kind of temperatures I expect.
This forces me to go to infrared, which as you know doubt are aware, is big
time money. My only other option is to have them tested, which is also big time
money. As I haven't seen a payday in four years, the wife would probably have
had objections to such further expenses to writing my book.
