I don't have access to a forge.
   Have you tried renting a hydraulic pipe bender? If you can't for some 
reason, then fill the pipe with sand and cap its ends. Heat with the rosebud using 
a few fire bricks to form a channel. Set the pipe into this "tunnel forge" 
and heat with the rosebud from the ends.
