having spent 15 yrs shooting advertising et al, my suggestion, fwiw, is
to not shoot film. rent,borrow or steal a high res digi, shoot with a
diffused, directional
light either overhead and slightly behind or from the side using fill
cards for the shadows.and maybe a spot for highlights as necessary.
then take the images to photoshop . unless you have access to a large
format camera with a polaroid back, you'll just be guessing on
exposure,light and composition with film. if you need to rent, try pro
photo supply in pdx. b&w film processing...pro lab nw.
