Your asking an old man to exercise his memory, from what I can
remember mylar can not be shrink fit, you can pull it tight, but you
cannot shrink it with heat. All the thermal blankets on satellites are
aluminized mylar, if they shrank during bake out (process used to remove
residual oils from mfg.) they would no longer fit.
