He's just down the road a five miles or so.  It's a matter of
getting over there when he's in, not too busy, it's not too cold, I'm
not too busy, Peggy (who owns the camera and knows how to use it) is
not too busy, phase of the moon etc. etc.

(Parenthetically, *I* have a digital camera of my very own, a nice,
simple, old Kodak that won't drive me nuts with features, options,
automatic everything that has to be configured to be automatic and
then leaves you with a million incomprehensible choices.   And all
that.  I'm in the middle of installing a new Linux distro that will
make it all work but the camera software is a couple of PITAs, three
hassles and annoyance or two away yet.  I intentionally chose
Slackware so I'd be forced to learn stuff.  Hah.  Silly me.  You
really gotta enjoy learning stuff to get Slackware to do everything
just the way you want.)
