hello;

well things are going slower than i would like.
there is a problem with numerous messages being so mangled that it makes
little sense to attempt to use the messages in the searchable archive.

the mangled messages are from one past member of theforge.
my current thinking is that the mangled messages would be inserted into
the searchable archive at some later date. to reconstruct the mangled
messages to probably going to have to be done by hand using a text
editor.

the other item that has slowed me down are the 'mime' messages in the
older theforge archives. i think i have finally stripped out all the
mime garbage and left the plain-text part.
