	This is precisely so.  Tying themselves to hardware was one of Apple's 
big mistakes.  They made many, which is why they became a third rate 
outfit in terms of market share.

	Yes, but their servers still suck.  They would have to make a quantum 
change in their architecture to pose a real threat to UNIX.  If the net 
ran on MS servers, there would be no net.  The web as we know it would 
never have come into existence.

	8" Winchesters are good as low power laps and hones.
