[TheForge] Computer help OT

Hi guys,
     I was looking for a patch for Midisoft Studio 6 to make it work with XP without hanging up (I already downloaded the soundcard driver).  I went to a site that said it had the patch, but instead it loaded something onto my computer that is causing pop-ups.  It makes my web browser really slow, how do I get rid of this.  I have also already run Ad-aware and cleaned up a lot.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
