I opened one of the .DBX files with Excel. (Windows Explorer, right click
the file and choose Open With) Be sure the always use box is NOT checked.
Excel will complain but allow you to open the file. You will find a lot of
garbage and stuff you know you deleted but all of the text will be there. I
think you can open them in Word also. Save As a .TXT or .DOC file and delete
what you don't want.
